FAQ

Which ecommerce platforms do you work with?

We build on four platforms: Norce, Shopify, Adobe Commerce (Magento) with Hyvä and Shopware. We recommend the right platform based on your business model, technical requirements and growth plans, not a one-size-fits-all answer. See our platform selection guide for the full comparison.

What does it cost to build an online store?

It depends on scope, platform choice, and integration complexity. A Shopify store with standard integrations is a different investment than a headless Norce build with ERP sync. We always start with a scoping phase to give you a clear estimate before committing to development.

What is headless ecommerce?

Headless means the frontend (what your customers see) is separated from the backend (commerce engine, CMS, ERP). This gives you full control over design, performance and user experience without being locked to a single vendor's template system. We use Frntkey as our composed frontend for Norce builds. Read our full headless commerce guide for when it makes sense and what it costs.

How do you integrate our ERP with ecommerce?

We connect ERP systems like Fortnox, Visma, Business Central, Monitor, Jeeves and SAP to your ecommerce platform through Junipeer, our integration platform. Products, inventory, orders and customer data sync automatically. Our ERP integration guide walks through how the architecture works.

Can you help us switch ecommerce platform?

Yes, replatforming is one of our core services. We handle data migration, integration rewiring, SEO preservation and phased go-live. Whether you are moving from a legacy system or switching between modern platforms, we plan the transition to minimise risk and downtime. Read our ecommerce migration guide.

Do you work with both B2B and B2C?

Yes. We build for B2C, B2B, D2C and hybrid models. B2B often requires customer-specific pricing, approval workflows and ERP-driven catalogues, all areas where our integration and platform expertise is especially relevant.

How do you use AI in ecommerce projects?

AI is part of how we work, not an add-on. We use it for code generation and review, automated testing, SEO content and product data enrichment. For merchants, this means faster delivery and stores that can use AI-powered search, personalisation and customer service. See our guides on AI in ecommerce, agentic commerce and MCP for ecommerce.

What does it cost to hire an ecommerce agency?

Most engagements fall between €40,000 and €400,000 depending on scope. From a Shopify build with standard integrations to a headless Norce implementation with ERP sync and multi-market setup. We do a short scoping phase before any commitment so both sides have a clear picture of cost, timeline and risk. See our starting ecommerce guide for more on how projects are structured.

Shopify or Shopware, which is better?

They solve different problems. Shopify is faster to launch and easier to operate, with a strong app ecosystem. Shopware gives more control over data models, B2B workflows and self-hosted infrastructure. For a B2B merchant with complex pricing and ERP-driven catalogues, Shopware or Adobe Commerce with Hyvä usually fits better. For a D2C brand wanting speed to market and tight operations, Shopify often wins. Our platform selection guide walks through the full comparison.

How long does a replatforming project take?

A straightforward Shopify migration can be done in 6 to 10 weeks. An Adobe Commerce or Shopware rebuild with ERP, PIM and payment integrations typically runs 4 to 8 months. Headless Norce builds with a custom frontend tend to land in the same range, longer if B2B and multi-market are in scope. Our ecommerce migration guide covers the phases in detail.

Do you work with clients outside Sweden?

Yes. We are based in Stockholm with a delivery office in Bucharest, and we work with clients across the Nordics and Europe. Many of our builds involve multi-market setups, multi-currency and cross-border logistics. Our internationalisation guide covers how we approach multi-market ecommerce.
