Stockholm, June 2026. Nordic Web Team has built and launched djurid.se for Svenska Kennelklubben (SKK) — Sweden's national platform for animal registration and owner services, built on Magento with custom development throughout.
The platform went live in November 2025 and serves dog and cat owners across Sweden with a range of integrated services. Nordic Web Team has partnered with SKK since 2019. Djurid.se is the most technically complex product that partnership has produced.
What the platform does
Djurid.se covers animal registration, a live lost and found map of Sweden, QR chip tags that link physical collar tags to digital profiles, and fully digital ownership transfers signed with BankID. Each of these required custom integrations — there was no off-the-shelf path to any of them.
Nordic Web Team built the end-to-end integration for SKK's physical ID tags, developed in collaboration with DyreID, Norway's national pet registry. Ownership transfers — previously handled by paper forms — are now completed digitally, with both parties signing via BankID and the SKK registry updating automatically on confirmation.
The integration layer connecting payment with SKK's systems runs on Junipeer, part of the same company group as Nordic Web Team.
