Integrating payment solutions has not only been a clear focus for us. We dare to say that we are actually the leader in this field. Here’s why.
Back in the days, we were the first to integrate Klarna Checkout with Magento 1 and then to Magento 2 in the Scandinavian markets. Our first solution has since been used by more than 1,000 merchants and is considered one of the most robust integrations the market has ever seen.
That experience gave us the knowledge and opportunity to build more payment solutions for other payment providers on Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce. Today, the Klarna solutions have been complemented with integrations for Billmate, Ecster, Nets Easy, Svea, Avarda, Swish and Briqpay, among others.
So why are we so proud of this? Well, integrating payment solutions is one of the most complex and critical things you can do in our industry. The fact that our solutions both work and are so well received is a tremendous testament to the fact that we know what we’re doing.
Shopware – extremely capable platform
Proud, but not satisfied. Development continues with and with input from our customers and partners. Over time, we’ve improved what we’ve built to create a framework for rapidly developing and supporting payment solutions. Compatibility is key, which is why we have also made sure to integrate our solutions with other services, such as nShift and Ingrid. For many, we are therefore now the obvious choice when it comes to both payment and shipping integrations.
Through the aforementioned framework, we also now go out as an even clearer option for those platforms that want a stable partner for integrations. Earlier this year, we became Sweden’s first Shopware partner at the very highest partner level (Platinum). Shopware is an extremely capable platform that has been around for a full 20 years in Germany and has now received $100 million from Paypal, among others, to reach out internationally. Going forward, we will therefore build checkouts and payment solutions for some of the top payment providers for Shopware in particular.
Headless is the future!
But that’s not all the future holds. You’ve probably heard the word “headless” a few times lately. Simply put, the term means that the backend system (the one that takes care of the logic) doesn’t have to deliver the frontend (what you see on the screen). This opens up lots of exciting possibilities. For example, a payment provider can have ONE front-end solution that then works against ALL headless options. And looking to the future, headless is a technology that everyone will embrace sooner or later. In other words, there are huge opportunities to simplify and find significant cost savings for payment providers.
Of course, making sure payments work properly is essential for any e-com. The same goes for follow-up and automatic bookkeeping. That’s why we have built functionality for just this on the Junipeer platform. Together, this enables us to cover the entire ecosystem of payment provider integrations in the Nordic countries as well as the rest of the world.
In other words, in this new technology landscape, we intend to continue building great payment solutions. And we’re very happy to do it with you.
