What Junipeer launched
Junipeer launched Junipeer MCP on 29 October 2026. The MCP server lets ecommerce companies connect Claude and other AI assistants to their integrations in Junipeer. Teams ask questions in plain language, in Swedish or English, and the AI answers from current data.
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It is an open standard that AI assistants use to connect to other software. Junipeer MCP comes in two parts:
Workspace MCP gives the AI the same view of your integrations that you have in the Junipeer app. The AI can also re-run failed syncs.
System MCP gives the AI access to data inside a connected system, such as overdue invoices in Fortnox. It is available for 21 systems at launch.
What the AI can do in your workspace
Junipeer describes four main uses for Workspace MCP:
Set up an integration. The AI reads recent records from your systems and proposes settings based on them.
Understand an integration. The AI explains what a setting does and what it is set to.
Find and fix errors. The AI works through the integration step by step and tells you which system owns the problem.
Change settings and schedules. The AI shows the current value next to the proposed value and waits for your approval.
A typical question is why a specific order never reached Fortnox. The AI answers with the log line that shows the cause.
You decide what the AI may do
Permissions sit on the API key you create for the AI. There are four levels:
Look and explain. The AI reads integrations and logs and explains them.
Change settings. The AI can also update mappings and schedules.
Run jobs. The AI can also start and re-run syncs.
Write to your systems. The AI can also create and change data in connected systems.
You also choose which AI apps may use the key. Every request passes through Junipeer's servers, which only allow what the key permits. The AI app never sees passwords or login details for the connected systems.
Supported AI apps
Workspace MCP works with AI apps that support MCP. Junipeer names these:
Claude
ChatGPT
Gemini
Copilot
Cursor
All apps connect through the same Junipeer MCP address.
Pricing and setup
Junipeer MCP is available now. Workspace MCP costs €49 per month per workspace, excluding VAT. It is an add-on to your Junipeer integrations and can be cancelled any month. System MCP costs €39 per month per system plus €2 per 1,000 requests.
Setup takes a few minutes and requires no code. You enable Workspace MCP under Integrations in the Junipeer app. You then create an API key and choose its permission level. Finally, you paste the MCP address into your AI app and approve the sign-in.
What it means for Nordic Web Team clients
Nordic Web Team uses Junipeer as the integration layer in client projects. Clients who run their integrations on Junipeer can now investigate sync errors from the AI assistant they already use. The permission level decides whether the AI only explains or also acts.
