First thing one must take into consideration is that first impressions really matter in let’s say developer hiring. Nowadays, most developers are already employed either part-time or full-time, but some are interested in learning about new job opportunities. Still, most developer candidates don’t necessarily need to change jobs- and most importantly if the company brand does not attract their attention, they will quickly move on to something more appealing.
Why a strategy for employer branding is imortant
So it is really important when recruiting to take into consideration what is your employer branding strategy, because when the latter is done properly, only than you may get the most passive developer candidates excited into joining the company.
In order to get this right we looked in-house at what we can offer, who are we, what do we want people to understand about us, and why us.
For some people, working in a small agency in a very niche domain, it is not their cup of tea, but for some others is the perfect fit.
